I should just get off it huh? If you think we can tax our way to fiscal responsibility, then you are a part of the problem. If it was just balancing the budget on a short term basis, maybe, but we have all that accumulated debt that has been wracked up over the years that has to be serviced now AND we have the problems I have pointed out before. It's fine to live in a fairy land and say we wouldn't have all this debt if we hadn't of had the wars and the Bush tax cuts - BUT WE DID have the wars and tax cuts. You can't unring that bell no matter how hard you may want to.
