Those are REAL shrimp.
Any processed shrimp are not what they appear.
A purchasing agent for ConAgra told me truths of what they do to them.
Disgusting.

"Cornelius McGillicuddy"

I'm impressed; few people remember that name.

You are lucky you can do that. Fresh sea food out your doorstep and from the fisherpeople as we call them up here.

We have a delicious wild spot prawn up here. I eat them a lot, but they are a bit small and when they get large they turn into females and are loaded with eggs. They are sweet though. I don't eat the farmed ones either. Fecal bath-lol-good lord, what a mental image that is.

We used to get a wonderful small wild Petersburg shrimp that was the best of all of them, but eveyone quit going for them. They could not compete with the farmed stuff.

I am looking forward to spending some time down there where you are just to do some snorkling and eat the fresh fish. I do get tired of salmon and halibut and cod.
