Having worked in government for years, it really gets a bad rap. I found government, by and large, to be very efficient.

The Department of defense being the exception, but that is because of the power of the MIC.

In Alaska I saw very little waste. We have large governments and are in better shape than any state in the union. We are sort of like Denmark and Norway.

The pubs have been demagoguing government forever.
