I'll think of you as I eat my next foie gras. Cali has a ban right now, so we have to eat French- which is pretty stupid, considering people still eat it, and a lot of small farmers were hurt by the ban. You want real cruelty? Check out large factory farms. There are downright sadists there. You probably ought to open your mouth a lot more about large hog farming operations, large slaughterhouses, and chicken and turkey farms. Boutique items, like foie gras, are generally raised by small farmers who treat their stock very well.
