Look I agree we should raise taxes and if I was king I would do it in a heartbeat big time. But as we twiddle trying to raise taxes by pennies, we are accumulate additional huge amounts of debt. I'm all for you getting taxes raised so march onward with that. Be warned though there is a cost for doing that. The cost is voter support. Think the first Bush; " I will not raise your taxes".
