I've biked to work ( six miles one way ) at 62 exactly one time. I didn't kill me, and I intend to do it more often when the snow goes away here. I used to commute to work as a young poor hippie all the time, from the just-out-of-town farm I lived on to work, 20 miles both ways, all the time, because I didn't own a car.
