I don't see Boehner losing his speakership. I see two possible outcomes from King's blast. The first is that he backs off these comments because Boehner helps him work out some sort of proposal for the next congress. Or, King changes parties. Unlikely. I don't see this leading to endangering Boehner. These eastern Reps have no other place to go. Nor do I see Boehner striking a deal with the Dems.

I think Boner won in the cliff deal against Cantor and the Tea Partiers, so, it shows that he has no worries as speaker. Let's hope he continues to roll and minimize the Tea Party faction, who lost clout in this last election.
