There is. It just takes willing investors. Mom and Pop aren't ready to buy a third car, let alone invest in movie tickets, altho some are buying guns. Corps would rather loan their stash to the UST for interest than spend. That leaves the largest landlord and the largest auto fleet owner in the known universe, to wit the USG, and also states and various localities. Maybe Jr can then get a job and move out, so that Pop can afford to invest in a fancy dinner which pays off in romance.
Investing in housing is cool, too, as long as we are paying people to take our XS supply apart, piece by piece, and recycle the scrap.
