Hello Miller,

I have some good news for you, and then some even better news. When I met Dr. Johnny Thomas at the Dain Bosworth Conference earlier today, I asked him if the 45% market share was a cap, or just an initial goal? In 1995, ABTX had sales of $4.7 million and the goal was to reach $500 million and a 45% share by 2000. It seemed a formidable goal at the time, but it was never a cap, rather, just a target. The 3 additional acquisitions scheduled to close in January 1998 will put ABTX one year ahead of their scheduled target. It is a real possibility that the company will continue to grow at a rate that will achieve $500 million in sales before December 1998. (This is not my conclusion...I am only reporting.) It was also mentioned (not as a target or a goal) that $700-800 million in sales was a possibility down the road.

So Miller, you can determine which is the good news and which is the better news. But on both counts, you are not alone in you previous estimates...however you did your analysis.

regards,
glen
