Ira, my much abused and somewhat swiss chess of a memory tells me he was a guest in the fall of 95...... at least I sure remember lurking there and talking myself out of pulling the trigger. Everytime I'd get close, the shorts wloud drive it down again. Finally went for my first chunk during the recovery after the bears/shorts tried to kill it off before the secondary for the big Zip ramp. (Zip revenues had been announced and they had gotten one or two oem's .....but , as the bears howled and growled, they would NEVER NEVERE NEVER get Compaq! ---besides the ls120 was due out anyday and it would smash iomg in no time, ahhhhh......the old days, but I digress.....)
