I assume you are getting one as a routine matter?

If you wait a bit, and then tell the doctor you have some black blood in your stool- I think they can code it differently. This is all about coding, you know. Or at least it is on our plan. Even with a high deductible, there are ways to game the system. I would do a little research on your plan and your state, and see if you can't find a way to get it done as a necessary procedure, rather than as prevention (I know, prevention should be important, but in some plans it's not)
