IMO, the US equity markets have never, in their entire history, been more open, accessible and transparent than they are now. I agree. So now we can be more aware of the manipulation, etc. that goes on. You would think that awareness would tend to clean things up but now we have a situation where anybody at all can blog on the internet as an expert spewing false information that, even when proven wrong, are never called on it or receive any penalty whatsoever.
