One more penny: Bulba, I must reject your kind offer to let me make the rules for this contest. My sensitive nature does not permit me to endure the earnest and heart-felt criticism that a rule-maker richly deserves, especially from worthies such as these. I also believe your frustration and anger towards those who are critical of this year's contest is justified, particularly in light of your postings a week or two before the end of the year proposing the rules and begging for feedback prior to implementation and not getting any. It seems less than honorable not to provide feedback, but then criticize the results in place (and since I'm one of those guilty as charged, I apologize). Lastly, what sticks in my craw and seems to be bothering others in the contest, is the impression that this contest is not a level-playing field and that some people are being handicapped through the starting price differentials. A way around this that would make it level is to say portfolios are welcome through the second week in January, and the starting prices will be those of record on January 14. Any portfolios submitted before then are welcomed to be changed, until then. BTW, my friends call me Bob.
