What's a "military style" rifle, exactly? Would you feel better if the Bushmaster had a wood stock instead of synthetic? You do realize that's the only difference between a "military style" rifle and, say, a .223 like the Mini 14 ranch rifle, right?

This is what it comes down to - sheer, irrational, emotion.
