<< will you inform the board when you will cover the portion of your short position that you sold
at $38 and some a few days ago? >>

Whether or not COMS opened at 25 or 35 I didn't (and don't) plan on covering till after Jan 1. I don't want to pay taxes next April.

<< Or when you see events/developments happen that let you change your currently bearish
stance on COMS? >>

The street still doesn't get it yet with regards to COMS. They still think the worst is over. Go ask people on the ASND, CS, WDC, SEG, etc threads about "the worst being over".

I just had to respond. I have been following this board since before the merger. I can't believe what I read here. I am in shock how many followers of COMS are now treating Crawford like he is some kind of GURU. He thinks that he knows what is going on here, but he IMO is off-base. COMS has experienced some problems. Well documented for several months might I add. He is no genius. I have made money on the long side every time in COMS. I just sell it and then buy back. If I am wrong, it is only for a short while. Do not forget that 1) International and Asia will recover 2) CSCO is not the MSFT of networking-3Com has a superior product at the moment and a good name 3)The smart money and institutions already sold COMS. That is why it dropped in half. This stock can double in the next 12-18 months. That is a good investment. The outlook is not that bad. You guys should not listen to the opinions of short term traders. Actually, I feel strongly that the opinions of shorts should be contained on a seperate board. It is rude and obnoxious to hear their relentless bearish babble. They serve no good purpose by prostheletizing to longs. It is kind of like a missionary trying to convert someone to their religion. In summation, this is all short term, I believe that COMS will prove Craig wrong in the long term. I also do not think that COMS will hit 25. Coms will not go the route of ASND, SEG, or the others because the dynamics of their industry is different.

Sincerely,

Scott
