When the Bid Size is substantially larger than the Ask, it means there are more buyers than sellers and vice versa when the Ask size is larger than the Bid size.

When a stock is quoted between $1 and $.50 the min quote is 2500 shares. Above that it is 500 shares. So a stock that is
$1.00 to 1 1/8 will show size of 2500 x 500. These are mandated min. quote sizes, so nothing can be read into it.
