Sandy might send more than 250,000 cars to scrap heap

nbcnews.com

I'll bet several thousand cars were lost in the small town in Jersey where my sister lives. What gets me is that the town had dodged a bullet the previous year when 8 inches of tidal water flooded the town during Irene. All predictions put Sandy's surge at 3-4 feet higher. It was indeed about 3 feet higher. Many people were warned. My sister warned all her neighbors but only one listened. One lost 4 cars in addition to everything on the first floor. People don't listen. People don't learn. Must be Democrats.
