Oh I like this app (and associated device).

Let's hope the price goes down to a more reasonable level (now $20-$25) and longer battery life, but then again even so...

Find the things you always lose - keys, dog, cat, kid, yourself...

Now all you need is two phones in case you lose one...

What is it called? Irony? Or something else? The video definitely shows an iPhone, but when I first watched it, the ad just before is that almost scary - cyborg "you will be assimilated" commercial for the Android.

I have the perception that times have changed. Increased R&D may well be productive.

We'll never know. But you've got the 80/20 rule. I've got a feeling at Apple it was the 95/5 rule. Jobs got people to produce beyond what was ordinary, into extraordinary. The fact that Cook has to triple R&D is a statement in itself. Apple can grow to match the R&D dollars of MSFT... but that's sort of proof that the $'s are not the key metric.

We'll see, no doubt a lot of superb talent at Apple. Maybe the extra money is worth it.
