"...God commands rape in the bible" Quack Quack Quack! All you have left is your Quack!! It sounds like you are in support and favor of the many rapes in the bible, Gregoree? Are you?? Not only does God approve of rape but he actually causes women to be raped as a "punishment" against men he apparently has feelings for. God decides to punish David by bringing his wives to other men to be raped ("I will take your wives while you live to see it, and will give them to your neighbor"). David is an adulterer and a murderer. Yahweh will punish him by murdering his child and by bringing his wives to be raped by Absalom. God gave ten of David’s wives to be raped by Absalom as he said he would do. David had 8 wives and 10 conks. It is unknown exactly which of these ten were raped to punish David. Yahweh apparently believes the women are simply chattel to be used to keep score of rewards and punishment. More evidence that Jesus (God) was possibly Gay and had no respect or feelings for women. So God brings these ten women to a roof terrace in full daylight and in full view of the city (just as He promised David He would do) and He gave them as rape victims to Absalom (just as He said He would do). God also murdered David’s child (from his rape of Bathsheba). The child was, of course, innocent of all wrong doing--but this is how primitive gods operated!! Yahweh promised he would have the child dead just as he promised he would have the women raped. He caused both events to happen just as he promised he would. He thought that killing the innocent child was a good punishment for David being a murderer. And he thought raping ten of David's wives was a good punishment for David's adultery. Sort of MORONIC and EVIL thinking--but common to primitive cultures!! (2 Samuel 12:11-14 NAB) Thus says the Lord: 'I will bring evil upon you out of your own house. I will take your wives while you live to see it, and will give them to your neighbor. He shall lie with your wives in broad daylight. You have done this deed in secret, but I will bring it about in the presence of all Israel, and with the sun looking down.’ Then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." Nathan answered David: "The Lord on his part has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. But since you have utterly spurned the Lord by this deed, the child born to you must surely die." [The child dies seven days later.]
