Lots of dems are conservative's. 2008 to 2010 Obama and Pelosi had to work around the conservative blue dog dems. If we had all liberals, many things would have been accomplished. In fact we would have single payer universal health care right now. And be out of Afghanistan.

Remember there is a difference between a dem and a liberal. The democratic party is the home of the liberals, but we share it with lots of conservatives, libertarians, and martians.

E.g. most minorities are conservative, not liberal.
