Hi Bob...thats quite the memory you have. Thanks for the history. If i could trouble you further, I was trying to find out what happened to the prices of homes as the interest rates ran up from say whatever they were in 1970'ish to the peak in 1981. I think its possible we do something similar in the decade to come and would like to have a clue what i might be looking at in terms or real estate pricing in such an environment.

ps my father saved a letter from his bank from 1981 informing him that his savings rates were going to 14% i believe and that home loan rates were in the 18% range. (going from memory here as i dont remember where i stored the letter)
