Interesting gas comparison between the 2 cars. Chevy Cruz used less than half a tank over 4 days, the SUV went out with zero. Had to kick in $5 to get to the airport safely. Chevy Cruz is one great car. $17K for 42 mpg - not bad at all for a non hybrid. It's disgusting the way that auto companies fought higher fuel efficiency for decades. Every tech company in the world has to fight tooth and nail to improve efficiency by 50 % or more every year. I would never buy a hybrid at this point. Not to mention, the government will start adding more fuel taxes once things get too efficient!
