Steve, Re -- AMD in Compaq... Compaq is demonstrating once again its the low quality cheapo PC producer, which no one who knows anything about PC's will buy. Ask Kai, His post and yours said they wouldn't touch a presario. Thus Compaq is dishing out these duds to unsuspecting consumers, and it will come back to haunt them later. Did you know that AMD in order to get K6/233's had to jack up their voltages. If this is the case, then the AMD chips are JUNK. Trust CPQ to use JUNK in their low cost PC's. For crying out loud!!
