To All,

If ACTV provided the software that allowed the MTV viewer to select the music video to be played--let alone the camera angle--that would be enough.

The MTV viewer has subscribed to the the MTV channel through the cable carrier. ACTV has supplied the interactive technology. Don't understand the confusion on the concept, or the confusion as to how MTV/ACTV would make money.

The home viewer doesn't need to buy anything. The software will be incorporated in the digital set-top boxes. All someone has to do is to subscribe to the service. This is what makes ACTV such a profitable venture. There's no cost to ACTV for the hardware at the receiving end. That's something the cable companies will provide. ACTV will pay the cable companies a percentage of the subscription. Besides sports, education and music, what would really sell would be an interactive Playboy channel.
