Hi Folks! I'd like to relay some observations about David James' comments (of Canaccord) on ACA, as reported by Stockwatch yesterday. First, it's important to consider that Canaccord has a huge interest in Aber (I have it on very good authority), and is somehow fearful of diverting funds or attention from that to any other Canadian play. Given that, James' reports will always be biased until he (they) make the transition.

Second, his comment (if accurately reported) about micro/macro ratios is completely irrelevant, at this stage of exploration in a new area:
The latest results from a kimberlite pipe at Ashton's Buffalo Hills diamond play, which totals 28.3 million acres, is "in the realm of interest in Northwest Territories terms," Mr James believes. However, "the macro-to-micro ratio is quite small, again in comparison to the Territories."
This is a completely invalid argument to propose.

James goes on to say,
It's a good start, but we certainly don't have a mine that I can talk about now.
No kidding! Ashton only announced the program there 14 months ago, and first offered us results a mere 8 months ago!. Ashton has been doing fantastic work.
-Let's hold out for some better analysis, when it's appropriate.

Re. the weather in the north-- while it has been unseasonably warm, the nights have been plenty cold to firm things up by now. You can bet the oil riggers et al. are active and mobile.

Finally, speaking of going back over the thread, I'd like to correct myself on a couple occasions--

For one, when I said the just reported K91 was 'another great pipe,' it was completely presumptuous of me. For one, it's not yet identified as a pipe, just an anomaly. For two, who says it is a distinct pipe, not a phase of the same K14 complex? It's not known yet.

Also, the Tli Kwi Cho pipe was abandoned by the DHK syndicate of course (not DMM)!. - -I still have a lil leftover free Dentonia in a drawer somewhere!

Cheers,
-J
