Drop the 4S to $540 and the 4 to $350 and, honestly, I think AAPL would be in pretty good shape on the low end. At least as far as covering the market.

Meantime, I'm still trying to get my hands on the one phone out there that is truly impossible to get - the Nexus 4.

Glad to see the clouds lifting for you ;-)

Samsung which has no clue about pretty much anything

Unfortunately, that is not true. The company has been in the mobile phone business far longer than Apple. It is also Apple's #1 competitor by a mile, a status you don't achieve unless you are pretty savvy. Lord knows I have lots of unpleasant things to say about it, but clueless is not one of them.

Something needs to be done along the lines of INTC/MSFT to buy back stock at these ridiculous prices.
Something is being done along those lines. There's an ongoing stock buyback.
