Great point ! Middle class can't afford to put a lot of money at risk because they don't have much to lose. Nevertheless, inflation will reduce their buying power over time due to artificially low interest rates.

I think the real question he was asking, and I loved your answer, is when are all those clownbucks coming home. I remember the Bernanke being grilled on Capitol Hill and he was asked about all his QE causing inflation. He said it won't cause inflation here at home, it would just make imported good more expensive. That was his answer. There is nothing keeping the clownbucks from coming home to roost as he seemed to suggest that was somehow impossible.
