Nuclear weapons are the only way countries to get some kind of deterrence against the super-powers. Now that North Korea has both nuclear power and missile technology, the only way out is to convert them into a thoroughly capitalist country.

Nuclear fears are not the fears of indians although the risk is definitely there. Again you are imposing your own fears.

Indian has had three wars with Pakistan + 1 mini war in Kargill. The total deaths were about 5000, I guess. Thats a lot but small compared that to 130,000 per year in auto accidents.
