I agree with you on this, but, for example, the leftists think of Hitler's Nazis as a right wing movement. So in conversation with the lefties I use their language. And to some degree, what Hitler did was to get elected as a socialist, but govern as an extreme right wing dictator. I don't think Obama is the true threat. If they institute a national registration of all guns (except those held by criminals), the real threat will be some time in the future. Obama is mostly just the useful idiot. And over the very long term, those who are now the leftists will be complaining that the right wing caused all the problems, just as they always had. I think the real problem is that we have a public which fears death more than anything else. They think of the concept of "death before dishonor" as right-wing extremism. Was it Franklin who said that those who are willing to give up freedom for safety end up with neither? -- Carl
