You yourself freely admit people are corrupt.
not all people are corrupt, but nearly anyone would use government power to advance themselves. i believe the adage that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

How does reducing government power reduce corruption? lol!
because reducing government power reduces the amount of power there is to corrupt. lol!

the reason government power and the over reach thereof pisses you and most of us off is that the government is run by corrupt bureaucrats.
government power attracts precisely the kinds of people that we don't want running it. small government that operates within the constitution has so little power that it mostly isn't worth the attempt to corrupt it. simply, there's not much to gain by it.
