"Stop listening to Fox News." I don't. I had tv services stopped a few years ago. "...and trust me, teachers don't want to be carrying guns." As I stated earlier, most teachers are not good candidates and it should never be pushed. However, there are plenty who are qualified, willing, and able. They are far more stable and trustworthy than any rent a cop or massive force of armed guards could ever be. Stop and think about that for a second before you just throw your support blindly behind the ruling elite, who are telling you they will take care of you. 1 in 4 children in America are now on food stamps (being taken care of by the ruling elite)...that is directional. If we raise them in such a dependant mind set we will see a very different America in the next generation, one that is no longer able to compete on a global level, a conquerable nation. If you don't think the rest of the world would like to bring down America, you aren't paying attention. If you would like to see that come about ... well, that mind set confuses me.
