Hiya Cupie Doll I just got back from lunch with ,my sweetie!!! I was in CT Mon & Tues, and only had a quick chance today to make just 1 post over on the Kahuna Tuna Thread...They love me over there<g>... Now I want to say something about the OEX, KEVIN-NEMER-TT and DON... I've been trading the OEX for a couple of months now, and of course longer too...But its a pure play here... With all the downgrades and warnings coming fast and furious...the OEX looks terrific right now... Let me say that even if a person buys 1 contract for 1000 or so, so what??? What I mean is you can make 500 to a grand intraday without risking larger amounts of money...and without holding overnight... At the same time, we do NOT have to trade every day!!! The markets will be here tommarrow<g>... So why not just wait for the kind help from Kev & et all, to play those puts/calls for day trades to make some nice pick pocket $$$$ :>}..Yeah intraday the OEX is moving almost 1%++++. It can be done carefully and should be done that way to recoup our losses... Now for all those lurkers and threaders that own KLIC...Look just hold this stock...Certainly don't sell it for a loss :{...Right now the semis have been beaten and battered...OK, i got it, right??? However we will have to be patient till after eps in Jan to see what's what... I can't speak about other co's but KLIC is a local outfit that I know something about, from trading it for 10 years or so...LISTEN, the co is so busy its unbelieveable...Orders are flowing as we speak.. They just annc. yeaterday that HUNDYI(sp) ordered 85 extra machines for immediate delivery, and FOLKS they Live in KOREA!!!!!No push outs so far, no cancelations either.. Now look I have no idea if that will not occur...I don't have a crytal ball :>}...well er hmmm, i have some ballz, but their not crystal<ggg>. I'm very bullish on the markets for a lot of reasons..If Asia is going to impact the US, with slowing OUR economy then AG is completetly taken out of the picture for any rate raises....BUT, what about decreases if we slow too much???? That's a real possibility...IMO... As for any companies doing biz in ASIA, like KLIC, it just works identically for them as it does for DELL... They get parts from there and sell machines there...COMPRENDE!!!???????? In fact when KLIC completes their transition from 1488 machines to ALL 8020's they will be even more effective in making larger profits and higher margins, with out much competition..In fact they will gain market share by leaps and bounds in the wire bonding biz...World Wide!!! I think the semis will need to complete their consolidation here, thru Jan-Feb time frame...After that I feel the rest of 98-99-00 will be bonkers to say the least... Remember the street sentiment has a feeding fenzy mentality.. When things go bad for a stock or a sector, everyone jumps on with both fists...However, this is when you BUY these beaten up stocks...Not in FEB, it will be too late... While I am not suggesting anyone buy anything here today now, I am saying that the downside risk, is far less than the upside potential...Wait till the smoke clears and a real bottom sets in...Lets see when the sector turns, then hopefully we will be able to play this sector the right way... We had a lot of people here for Turkey Day...I can't begin to tell you how everyone was talking about buying COMPUTERS for XMAS...I think this season will be the biggest & most profitable season this decade...FOLKS despite OUR obvious losses the Country is still standing<ggg> and doing quite well i would say...Employment in the Phils area is 4.6%, and people are happy and spending... So we shall see what we shall see...Hang in there Lisa and everyone things are good....OJ Speaks ....:>}....and when oj speaks ah hmmmm......................................................
