How about those minted prior to 1982? I see them every day in circulation. Besides I have 8 fifty five gallon cans filled with copper pennies in my basement which I purchased off a chap in 1994 for $80.000. That was the estimated face value. When I retire I have plans to sort them by dates. I caluculated being he accumulated them over his lifetime most were wheat pennies. I figured they were worth at least $120,000 maybe more at that time.
