You and me were talking about this stuff daily in 2005-06 when it was already too late to undo the damage. No qualify, no income, zero down 1% option ARM's of that period weren't caused by Jimmy Carter or Barney Frank. The poor browns in da hoods didn't all over leverage their modest abodes to cause the housing bubble of that period.... Greenspan, Rubin, the entire GOP and all of WS were wearing blinders when the Ownership Society went bonkers. Of course everyone else from business people to local politicians including most Dems to local financeers and the entire RE industry was looking the other way caught up in the easy green of the period too. We just know way too much for the foolish sheep BC... This one politician got it in 1999 and in 2008. Guess what party? Few even know his name..sad youtube.com
