No, as I pointed out, it is futile regulation that serves only to take weapons out of the hands of those who NEED to have them -- to protect themselves either from criminals or from a tyrannical government. Those who want guns for illicit purposes are going to get them, from now on, in plentiful supply and without hesitation. Far better to allow those who want to defend themselves to be armed to the hilt. At least there is some deterrent effect. And if it becomes necessary to remove a tyrant we can at least fight back.
