Kurt, Apple will settle much, much lower than even that chart.

It is a bubble. It always has been a bubble. If you don't understand this, then you don't understand how the market works, and why certain technologies become standards, and others become passing fads.

Only operating systems made available to a variety of competitive manufacturers can succeed, long term.

Apple is fated for 5% market share in phones tops, just as in PCs. It is a natural outcome of their defining business model.

Simple truth.

Any technology manager buys business critical products from a company that doesn't provide robust legacy and standards support and competitive hardware sourcing should be fired.

Otherwise, you are pumping company assets into a professional milking operation that values form over substance.
