Fuchi,

Do you believe that they would pay for StrongArm if they were not caught?

Hell, I don't know. But I do think that many low cost electronic gadgets will not need to run Windows or have x86 compatibility. I think the StrongArm chip will be important in these markets.

On a different subject, I can't understand why IBM wouldn't want to produce x86 chips on their .18u copper process. They are a couple of years ahead of Intel in process technology and could make tons of money making 500 Mhz MX chips. These ships would not compete with their PowerPC chips, as they sell into different markets. I just don't get it. It's almost like Intel or Apple has a secrect arrangement with IBM to not make cutting edge x86 chips.

On another note, an analyst from Sanford C. Bernstein said on CNBC this morning that he would be a holder of Intel and a buyer of NSM at current levels. But, the downgrade worries me. I wonder if it was based on guidance from NSM. With 40% of their product sold into the Asian market, I can't see how they wouldn't be negatively impacted by the loss of wealth and currency declines in that region. Well, I guess we'll have a better idea next Tuesday during the conference call.

Pravin.
