No I haven't, actually I was surprised it automatically recognized the two printers I had. One is a Brother (couple of years old), one of those all in one printers, that is connected through the router and the other a very old Hp 600. I mean this thing is old, the very first printer I ever bought back in the Win 95 days, and it works perfect. Even weirder, I don't think there was any 64 bit systems or drivers at that time and I installed the 64 bit version of Win 8 Pro. So, no I didn't have any problems but I may be an exception too.

The thing that took the longest was downloading and installing all the various software that I previously had on the XP system. Granted I didn't need all of it but you get used to certain things. One of the biggest headaches I had with software was trying to install Turbo Tax last night. After about an hour or so and looking online for suggestions it finally worked. There must of been a conflict with something that was running because it finally installed after I did a selective startup (found in msconfig) and disabled everything from starting. Like I said though, I like Win 8 but I also like to mess around and tweak things. Thank God for Acronis!!! It has saved my butt numerous times over the years.
