I don't know about that particular game, but anyone who has ever played GTA must acknowledge the potential for an effect. This is not to suggest that a normal, sane person would respond to it by shooting up a school.

It is very difficult to imagine what would cause someone to carry out attacks on children as that guy did. Or for that matter, what caused the Luby's killer to do what he did 20 years ago.
