D. Newberry Great post. A few years back I traded this stock but after looking at the potential of the internet I took a long position in this company. I think we all expected a consolidation in the networking business but it is happening even faster than I thought it would! Cisco is putting their foot to the floor while the others are stubbing their toes. I also like 3COM, but playing the "low margin game" is frought with volatility and missed steps. (I hold 3COM as a trading stock) Cisco keeps looking stronger every day, their hardware, software engineering and management are truly impressive. Good investing, Eric P.S.
