While only the lower receiver of the weapon was printed, it held up for 200 rounds.

Any modern semiautomatic lower receiver today is made of plastic...and even that only lasted 200 rounds as you say. The problem is a difficult one...trust me. But in any case this won't be what nullifies an assault weapon ban.
