The really important thing is to know exactly how that gauge is created, and what they mean by

both fear and greed, and also the metric. Measures need very clear meaning.

I imagine you'd be quite pissed off to find that it's a scale made by some chump in Kentucky to keep track of how much sausage gravy his three aunts have been tucking into daily.
