Z, let me ask you this. How come you are in favor of banning guns when you yourself are able to get around the prohibition of illegal narcotics?

It's a lot easier to grow a plant in your backyard than it is to make a gun, magazines, and lots of bullets.

I'm not sure how the two can be equated.

Exactly.

And the idea that banning guns, magazines and ammo is going to reduce availability is absurd. It may drive the prices up, but it is likely they would ALL be more readily available to the people who want to use these "illegal substances" than any of it is today.

Instead of having to go hunt down a legal gun shop, a city-dweller can walk a block down the street and buy it right from the guy right next to the one selling crack.
