Not sure how Japan fares in nano biotech (but they are at it am sure), this 2005 article talks about Abraxane for late stage breast cancer treatment which uses Nanobiotechnology in drug delivery.

Since 2005 the company Abraxis got bought by Celgene which just recent;y reported earnings see chart below for how well they like this nano tech now. One thing that stands out above everything else is the basic nature of wanting to live long , live forever , live without pain & without disease & without discomfort. Yes God must have really Intelligently designed these desires wired into our genes, few want to die or suffer hunger or pain while many want to live forever young with no deprivations or aging ...surprise surprise!

About a $10bil move here & counting, they obviously like this drug Abraxane now.
