I deleted it but then Fidelity Active Trader Pro charts didnt work

I understand many apps use Java

so I reinstalled it, then disabled it in Firefox

will try FATP tomorrow to see if it works there

Recent browsers don't come with a Java plugin installed. You would have to be on an old computer system with an old browser to be affected by this. If you have not gone out of your way to install Java on IE, Chrome or Firefox, you are safe...
