There also is no existing federal database of weapons Actually there is and it's called the NFRTR for all National Firearms Act weapons. It's been demonstrated over the years to be wholly inaccurate and countless innocents have gone to prison or had their valuable property confiscated because of the errors it contains, even today from lazy bureaucrats paid to enter the data accurately and not toss registration paperwork in order to be out the door by 3:30p.m..

Brumar, I can guarantee you virtually NO gun owners would comply with the law. I wouldn't myself and I'd strongly urge everyone else to not comply. So just like that? Pry your gun from your cold, dead hands? Ever wonder why you're on the defensive every single time these shootings happen?
