Other day I hadn't touched the camera for two days and the battery was zero.
Switch off the GPS and WiFi when not in use. Should help avoid battery nightmares.
Read the instructions for wifi and its anything but intuitive and I can't see how I would use it??? Upload photos from the camera to Facebook? Why, when I upload to iPhoto they automatically stream to my iPad and iPhone through iCloud, at a usable size.
You could WiFi images directly to the iPhone in your pocket or the iPad in your backpack, and from there they'd fly to your iCloud. I know, the setup is not easy:

I think Canon and Nikon are doomed... too mired in yesterday. Big bulky things that are a serious pain to carry.
Can't wait to get the much smaller and lighter - probably silent - Fuji.

That is the direction Canon and Nikon must go, to survive. Oh, build a phone into it, already. I mean, supply it with headphones dudes, if need be. Email and browser go without saying.
Got to get over and see the local camera store guy.
I make it a point to show up at West at least once a month. Helps that the largest liquor store is next door. We chat, sometimes I buy something small, often I find out something new and interesting. Also, I regularly rent from them, to get a feel for the toys I may want to use a bit, or maybe even buy, later. I'd be lost without them!
