Ken, just follow the procedure in my post and disable the browsers from your newest Java installation.
I'd open TWS first and check that it is using that version. My TWS is Build 933.5 and uses Java version 1.6.0_37

I'd delete the two older Java versions

I think it all boils down to where you surf. If you use one browser for your business, I don't think leaving JAVA on would be a risk, because you are going to trusted sites.

If you wanted to browser the web, use another browser and turn JAVA off for that one, as you could stumble onto a compromised site.

Don't get caught up in the hysteria, these threats are happening all the time, the media likes to fuel the fire.
