I hope you're right in your assessment, but then people were saying the same thing about Gandalf a few years ago. Obviously, comparing the two is not justified, however, nothing in the world of technology can be taken for granted.

Thanks Eric - I was concerned about the long term competitive position of the CS product line. If the problem is marketing and channel access then they are addressing that with the DEC acquisition and the move into VAR channels.

ComputerWorld via Individual Inc. : Cabletron Systems, Inc.'s
purchase of Digital Equipment Corp.'s networking division last week
for $430 million left some Digital users wondering who will protect
their investment.............

''What does this mean, especially if you're not a Cabletron fan?''

bandwagon. It really opens up doors to other vendors.''

said Cabletron can be pricey and tough to work with......>>>

Who know's what Reed will do. I posted something earlier about how he commented on CNBC that sales picked up at the end of the quarter and yesterday said they unexpectedly dropped off.

This tells me the CEO has no clue about what is going on in his own company. This is most likely why people have lost faith in CS.

Good luck.

still waiting for that turn around but it ain't coming for a longgggg time ;-(
