Which is why it becomes important for Kevin to have these additional sets of numbers. Just musing here... Agreed. I suspect that is the reason that mine need some "stretch" at times and not at others, especially when mine seem to co exist with Kevins figs. His, and some of the others I've come across, are calculated on a relatively well known basis and are thus fairly well observed. When I first started posting mine, which were on the SPX and the OEX, Ike made a quick analysis of them and determined that they wern't based on "commonly used formulas". As I was quick to admit, I don't know the method in which mine are caluclated. I understand the methodology, but not the actual method. My bud takes care of that and we work as a team. I have learned over a LONG period of time to specialize in a small area so that I have an advantage. The gentlemen and a few gentlewomen (I just have to make this comment here and the devil makes me do it----one of those two denominators is an oxymoron-----he he ah he he arrrmmm hmmmm.) <now we return to the regularly scheduled lecture> who make the markets and set the prices in the pits must be , by nature, cold blooded and remorseless folks. Will they fake "you" out. You betcha---and each other as well. They exist in a dog eat dog world which makes the slower paced one in which we try to trade seem to be slow motion. I firmly think they will take advantage of any solution to make their trading easier and more profitable. I have since determined that my SPX fig aren't as relialable as my OEX and have discontinued posting them. Right now, I'm unhappy with the OEX due to it being "split" . Such is the life of a lil peon operating in the market world of the tycoons. I'm dedicated to getting an edge. For me. Right now, it's working. Regards----Nemer the EdgeSeeker
